Berend Verweij is paralegal at bureau Brandeis. He works part time in the EU competition law and regulated markets department.
Berend completed the bachelor Politics Psychology, Law and Economics and the bachelor of Law at the University of Amsterdam. Berend was active in multiple extracurricular activities including the establishment of study association A.I.M. and as student participant and coach of the A.L.T. moot court.
Berend is currently enrolled in two masters programs, namely Law and Economic at the Utrecht University and Dutch Private Law at the University of Amsterdam. His first thesis is about State aid law and its application to to banks.
